  • I would like to Nominate My friend In Acton Sue Hardy I am writing to you from North carolina, Sue is a single mom of ,willy, She struggles to put food on the table , She is disabled with sever back arthris, But You would never know, She would give you the shirt of her back! I just recently moved to north carolina i am battling a rare cancer and have a significant vision loss, When i was moving (my husband had to go 2 weeks b-4 i did) Sue would drive almost everyday from Acton to Arlington Just to Check on Me. She really deserves a makeover ,Thank-you Joanne

  • I would like to nominate my best friend Sue Hardy. Sue is a single disabled mom of one of the greatest kids I know, thanks to Sue’s incredible devotion to raising her son. Sue has always been an inspiration to me as she can always find the sunshine on a rainy day. I have known Sue since we were kids and her ability to adapt to even the hardest of situations is remarkable. Sue deserves this makeover if for no other reason than to take her mind off of taking care of everyone else in her life and just lie back and have herself taken care of. Please consider Sue for this makeover as not only will she be the one receiving it, you will be receiving the joy of being around the most positive person I know.

  • All the way from KANSAS, I would like to nominate SUE HARDY!!!! YEAH SUE!! She NEEDS a hair makeover!!

  • Please nominate Sue Hardy of Acton I can not think of a more deserving person and she would be a great asset to you and advertisment

  • I want to also nominate Sue Hardy for the makeover! I don’t know anyone more deserving than Sue is!

  • I nominate my mom, Cheryl Doty Whittier. She’s been dealing with a dabilitating back injury for almost a year now and still manages to be a wonderful single mom to my 2 brothers and I. She’s got long curly hair that is often unmanageable. She has been out of work for 10 months and is one of the strongest people I’ve ever met. My mom deserves this because through all her struggles in the past year she’s been kind of depressed and blue and a nice makeover would really brighten her spirits! She’s faced many struggles in life but is still and amazing woman. Shes stepped in to take care of my cousin who moved in with us last year, she treats everyone with the utmost respect and has a genuine heart. My oldest brother is serving in the army and hasn’t been home in over a year and is scheduled to deploy again next spring. This has also contributed to my moms sadness. She’s an awesome woman and deserves to have a day where she can be pampered and treated like a queen!
    Please,
    Wendy help my mom out!

  • I nominate Cheryl Doty Whittier. She’s a fellow Army mom and she has been through a lot this year. I’m sure that while her son was deployed, she wasn’t worried about taming her hair, but instead waiting for word from her son. She’s a god person who deserves a makeover! 🙂

    • Great! Make sure you also post this comment on our Facebook page, “Like” our Facebook page AND “Share” this link to get more votes!!

  • I nominate Cheryl Doty Whittier. She is a fellow Army Mom and she is always positive and uplifting to so many of us other Army Moms even though she has her own struggles. Unfortunately most people don’t realize how difficult and depressing having your child deployed can be. We are an instant access world and when your child is at war you have to pray for any sign that they are still going over there as they are always in harms way. She is dealing with all of these pressures and then having physical disabilities as well. Remarkable…….that is the one word I would use to describe her.

  • Hi Wendy – Great idea! I would like to nominate a good friend, Carolyn Douglas. She is always thinking of others and helping her kids and their friends get to practices and other activities. She has 6 kids in the Acton school system and does not have much time for herself. She is always juggling their schedules. I would love for her to think of herself, even if it is only for a short time. She deserves a little pampering! Thank you for this consideration!

  • OK WENDY< BRACE YOURSELF, FROM ONE HAIRDRESSER TO ANOTHER…..For years Sue Hardy was my client, my friend, my sounding board, my rock, and EVERYONES cheerleader. Sue is a wonderful person. Life has not always been kind to her. But you wouldn't know it, Sue is someone we should all strive to be like, SHE is exhaustingly positive. I think we all could take a lesson from that.

Now way back when Sue's hair was important than a man, a women's closet and fort knox. She wasn't "playing" if her hair wasn't right. She built my hair business singlehandedly, simply thru word of mouth! She is gonna kill me for telling you, but she is the ONLY person I know who tapes together 3 HUGE hairdryers, just to dry her hair right. She loves color, depth, texture, dimension AND product!!! You can have fun with Sue's hair and she will be your advertisement. I VOTE FOR SUE HARDY !!!!
